Special U.S.-Sponsored Exchange Programmes
One-off and occasional exchanges, trainings and workshops sponsored by the U.S. Mission, usually by nomination or invitation.
Besides the well-known U.S. exchange programmes, the U.S. Mission sponsors special or occasional initiatives, in Uganda or in the United States, that offer unique opportunities for Ugandans. These often run once or infrequently, may pause or end over time, or are organised around specific themes or emerging needs.
Participation is usually by nomination or invitation, and may include short professional trainings, workshops or cultural exchanges for particular sectors.
