Meet Susanne Nantale Kalema, a Ugandan rally co-driver with over 16 years of experience in #motorsport and a powerful commitment to developing the next generation of talent.

From navigating rally stages across Uganda and East Africa to serving as a Competitors Relations Officer and Secretary to the Stewards, Susanne has experienced motorsport from both the competitive and organisational sides. As a director and tutor at Co-drivers Academy Uganda, she is also helping equip aspiring co-drivers with the practical skills, discipline, and confidence needed to build their careers in the sport.

Her impact extends beyond the rally stage. Susanne is passionate about opening doors for young people, particularly women and girls, and championing the many career opportunities motorsport offers beyond driving and co-driving, from engineering and mechanics to media, event management, safety, marketing, sponsorship, and leadership.

Most recently, Susanne represented Uganda in the historic International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project, “Racing Forward: American Innovation in Motorsports,” a three-week professional exchange in the United States with fresh international exposure to the motorsport industry.
